Direito nas veias: a doação de sangue na perspectiva dos direitos fundamentais

Abstract

The work comprises a compilation of articles developed by undergraduate law students, based on reflections that arise from their experience in the Right to Veins Extension Project. Thus, in the pages of this book, the reader will find reflections ranging from the legal nature of the act of donating blood to the limits imposed on possible donors and possible unfair discrimination that could tarnish the purity of this act of human altruism. We present this work in order to contribute to the legal reflections on the topic. But not only that, we hope that the reflections brought here may show that it is possible for professionals and students of Law to go beyond the walls of universities. Legal knowledge can no longer be translated into hermetic and intangible knowledge reserved only for those initiated in their practice.
