Organizadas e politizadas: um estudo das lutas por direitos protagonizadas pelas torcidas de futebol da cidade de São Paulo/SP

Abstract

This research seeks to analyze from Norbert Elias and Pierre Bourdieu the relationship between organized supporter, society, state and football club. The method of analysis used in this work is the Elisian, which is characterized by the theoretical and methodological assumptions of Norbert Elias' social configurations, to analyze the relationship between supporters organized on the sports scene. The objective is to refine the look on the problem of violence among the organized cheerleaders to understand the origin of the social relations established by the fans and to demonstrate that the individuals that form the social configuration are interconnected to each other by us of interdependence, being that the continuity of the social figuration supposes a moving balance of existing tensions. The work brings three chapters with the theoretical basis and the historical process that Elias defends, the origin of the fans organized in Brazil in the period of Dictatorship and Post-Dictatorship. The relationship of the fans with the clubs at the time of the appearance and the objectives of the entities in the bleachers of the soccer stadiums. The social function of organized cheerleaders will be defended and it will be demonstrated that violence in Brazil is not exclusive to organized cheerleaders and did not originate in them. On the contrary, the fans were born influenced by fans of different social classes and a similar club appreciation, which is important to recognize the inconsistencies of the views that consider the entities as propagators of violence, as if they were a society apart.
