A cultura do estupro e a naturalização do machismo

Abstract

This work deals with the culture of rape and its relation to the naturalization of machismo in society, prioritizing the cases that involve women, since they are the great majority. The choice of theme is motivated by its relevance, since it is a current and recurring theme. The research problem is to verify the relationship between rape culture and machismo. To answer this, the argumentative unfolding followed the following trajectory: it was approached what would be culture, delimiting the concept to be used in this article; the naturalization of machismo, the objectification of the female body and feminicide were analyzed; and, finally, the culture of rape, with the aim of seeking to understand the factors for which we still can not overcome the issue and break the paradigms of the characteristics imposed on the figure of the rapist. The method of research to be adopted will be the deductive method.
