Ausências, Violências e artes nas favelas: um estudo sobre processos de socialização e respostas culturais em favelas do Rio de Janeiro

Abstract

The initial idea of ​​this study is to analyze how this violence in several relationships in the social context of the favelas of Rio de Janeiro influences the development of young people who live daily with that figure. When analyzing the forms of violence in the processes of socialization of children and young people, it is noticed that each modality has its interference in the formation of these new members of the communities. This is mainly due to the absence of the State in this context, which does not recognize them as dignified citizens and have their fundamental rights violated. As a result, crime, on the one hand, it is seen as a form of protection order, as well as an opportunity to change the conditions experienced by current and residents of the slums, power and social status that it offers. On the other hand, it is an illegal way, which does not promote a healthy development and with good influences for the formation of the identity and ideology of these young people. Thus, in response to this pre-determined fate, many young people are looking for ways to make life better, such as art, dance and music. Thus, the issue of youth becomes relevant because the environment they live in and the people around you directly influence the development, and with so many relationships, the generated effects are proportional in quantity. Thus, it should be better informed on the subject, as these young people in contact with different experiences and different realities will one day form families and compose a new group of residents who perpetuate what was experienced by their families.
