A saúde da mulher no sistema prisional: uma análise comparativa entre Brasil e Itália

Abstract

The female prison system presents situations of inadequacy, given that it consists of a degrading and precarious system at various human levels, since situations such as maternity, menstruation, specific health care, and other particular female issues are undoubtedly deserved due attention . Faced with this problem, human dignity is one of the principles that are violated by people who are in conditions of deprivation of liberty. The scope of the work is to conduct a comparative analysis of the punitive punitive systems of women in Brazil and Italy and to discuss the role of women in society and how this affects their passage through the prison system. The present work was carried out with basis in bibliographical research and perfected based on the dialectical method of research in order to propose a discussion about the unhealthy conditions of the female prisons
