O Nietzsche dos juristas: a recepção por Miguel Reale no Brasil

Abstract

This article aims to examine Miguel Reale's (1910-2006) reception of Friedrich Nietzsche's thought, considering both the problems of a comprehensive history of ideas and the more particular aspects of legal axiology. To do this, look at Miguel Reale's intellectual itinerary, especially with regard to his philosophy of value and its relationship with legal culturalism and the three-dimensional theory of law. We conclude by pointing out that the developments of this theme in the second half of the 20th century in Brazil find similarities with its treatment in the European tradition, particularly in Germany, and show a reception of Nietzsche's thought. The methodology is a hermeneutics of reception that characterizes the history of ideas and culture, guided by problems of continuity and originality in peripheral thought, based on bibliographical research.
