Abstract

This project seeks to analyze women as part of a social order that allows and reproduces the sexual division of labor. Understanding possible reasons for the subordination of women in a class society as well as what – it seems – natural inclination towards the family institution is essential for real changes to be made, not just apparent techniques through the granting of rights to mask the real prejudice. Therefore, the study through dialectical historical materialism will allow walking through geographically and historically different moments, providing opportunities for forms of revolutions with the acquisition of awareness about their position and the domination exercised over it. A Marxist look will be launched on the women's position in capitalism, with the help of authors such as Ruben Gayle, Heleieth Saffioti. Wendy Goldman and Silvia Federici
