As cyberspace is a new place of social relations, a place that has no borders and integrates the whole world in these relations, there is a need for a regulation of this space so that relations can take place in total security and that solve any problems. that users may have, such as computer crimes. These crimes, because they are committed in a place that transcends borders and where time passes much faster than the real world, have the problem of the precision of the time and place in which they were committed and, in this way, it is possible to cause conflicts as to jurisdiction and jurisdiction for its judgment. In this way, it is questioned whether our criminal legislation is sufficient to regulate crimes that occur in a space without territorial limits, in which an illicit act can be practiced anywhere on the planet and produce its effects elsewhere, as well as it is discussed whether international legislation on the subject would be more effective in overcoming possible conflicts and in regulating computer crimes
