O abandono afetivo paterno sob uma perspectiva feminista

Abstract

The present work seeks to analyze the problem of paternal abandonment in Brazil, from the point of view of feminism. The objective of the work is to demonstrate the connection existing between the aforementioned abandonment and the patriarchal structures of society, which place the woman as having to naturally exercise motherhood, while for men, the ideal is that they work to provide for the family. Given this scenario, we seek to show that based on this framework of society's framework, the men/parents, have a greater tendency to abandon their children, as if they weren't responsible for creation. The study also brings the provisions of the Federal Constitution of 1988 on equality between men and women, including within the family in order to demonstrate that the role of the family has been transformed, but in practice there is still a lot of inequality. Finally, the work relates the theoretical bases of patriarchy with the documentary “All of us 5 million” (2019), which presents reports of mothers soil and children raised without the presence of their parents, to demonstrate how these structures are revealed in the lives of these people, especially women
