dc.description.resumoO presente estudo tem como objetivo principal analisar como o ordenamento jurídico brasileiro recepcionou o fenômeno da multiparentalidade, bem como a perspectiva social que deu origem a esse fenômeno, ao passo que também iremos examinar as transformações sociais ao longo da história que ocasionaram a quebra do antigo paradigma baseado no patriarcado e patrimonialismo que fundava o conceito de família; os fatores que tornaram possível o reconhecimento da paternidade socioafetiva baseado no princípio do afeto; a visão do STF sobre o tema, a partir da decisão contida na tese de repercussão geral número 622; os reflexos dessa decisão nos processos que tramitam no STJ e TJ que ganharam notoriedadept_BR
