Abstract

The main objective of this study is to analyze how the legal system Brazilian received the phenomenon of multiparenthood, as well as the perspective that gave rise to this phenomenon, while we will also examine the social transformations throughout history that caused the breaking of the old paradigm based on patriarchy and patrimonialism that founded the concept of family; the factors that made the recognition of paternity possible socio-affective based on the principle of affection; the STF's vision on the subject, from the decision contained in general repercussion thesis number 622; the reflections of this decision in the processes in the STJ and TJ that have gained notoriety
