Sindicato e partido político em Gramsci

Abstract

In this article, we present the thoughts of Antonio Gramsci as reflections on allowing the working class to raise self-awareness as a class and thus operate the various instruments of struggle against the logic of capital, especially through a Political Party. It is possible that workers value all and any form of organization and struggle (among them, the trade unions) and get empowered to build a new society beyond capital. Thus, Gramsci makes a series of criticisms to trade unions, showing their potential and limitations against the order of capital, which allows us to realize that an instrument of struggle is needed, one to help the working class get organized, mobilized. This instrument is the Working Class Political Party.
