Abstract

This research seeks to bring a new look at the reality around us that can no longer be dissociated from the complexity and dangers surrounding the advances in communication technology tools. Digital abuse has its own contours due to the use of technologies and virtual fields, making it a peculiar form of aggression, since in these cases the control of time, space and spectators becomes almost nonexistent. It cannot be denied that physical, moral, sexual, and psychological violence directly injures personality rights and fundamental rights safeguarded by the homeland constitution to individuals, such as the rights to intimacy, privacy, freedom, honor and image, physical health and psychological health and also the dignity of the human person. Thus, it is necessary to understand how the advances of communication tools influenced the transformation of relationships between individuals and the latter with the internal and external world, encompassing the circulation of goods, services, information and images. For this, firstly, the study will address the transformation that suffered social relations, highlighting the advancement and prevalence of consumer society in the modern world. Thus, we analyze how technological advances have impacted social interactions, established physically and virtually between peers, and how they, through their constant use, allowed the process of increment of these new technological tools in your daily life. Finally, we will analyze a specific case, carried by different news sites, in order to demonstrate one of the ways in which the use of information networks, despite bringing comfort and convenience, can negatively impact the life of its users, mainly to women
