Abstract

It is human nature to strive for the good or at least decrease the malevolent. Seeking the good is the quality that humanizes man, distancing it from irrational animals; and with that, he will try to eternalize himself in the world through his group, even after his death, because his legacy will remain. The Earth is a planet inhospitable by its nature, but the rational man modifies this nature through culture, thus creating the cultural world. This cultural world will be forged by imperative norms in an attempt to avoid unwanted behavior and to obtain conducts expected, that favor community life. To live in a world civilized, rules will be demanded whose initial ingredient will be repression, and that only in a second moment will be to liberate (BOBBIO, 2004, p. 28-29).
